Guidelines
The contest is open to all 12- to
18-year-old students who are registered within the Issaquah
School District or Chefchaouen school system.
Photos must be taken from
Aug. 9-Oct. 29, 2010, and be submitted by the student
artist online. Digital touch-ups are not allowed.
Each student is required to submit a
minimum of three photographs, one photo per category. A
maximum of two photographs per category will be allowed
(or a
total of six photographs).
At any time, students may
be asked to submit the original photography file(s) to
verify authenticity. Obscene or offensive photos are not
eligible.
By participating in the
contest and submitting photograph(s) online, students accept
that their entries, name and photograph(s) can be used by
the sponsors.
The photographs and all rights to reproduction will become
the property of the sponsors. No form of compensation will be given, other than the
prizes listed below for the selected winners, who will be
notified by AMIE.

This contest includes 3 categories:
To help you unleash your creativity, no firm
definitions of what people, landscape or cultures are given.
We want you to communicate what you feel represents your
people, culture and landscape through your photos.
The photographs submitted online must be high
resolution and in JPEG format with a maximum resolution of
1800x1200.
JUDGING
All entries will be judged on artistic merit, creativity
and interpretation of the theme.
All decisions regarding the contest and selection of
winners are final. Winners will be announced on Nov 15. Not all photos submitted may be
displayed. AMIE has
the right to cancel, postpone or suspend this event at any
time.
